I have been watching this family of deer in this one location all Spring. There are these two bucks and five does. They bed down in the woods right along the path. The clover along the path in this area seems like the reason they are in this location. They are tame and generally are not afraid of the humans using the path. Not sure of the family arrangements with two bucks in the family group. Brothers? Father and Son? Best time to see them is the morning around 6:30 to 7 am and the afternoon around 3-4 pm.

Surprising Wildlife in Columbia
You probably thought this picture might have been taken in some forest far from where we live but is was along the path from Lake Elkhorn down to the tressel bridge.
