"The images you've seen on social media are accurate. The shelves at the #HowardCountyFoodBank are looking a little bare. It's not an uncommon phenomenon for food banks during this time of year. Demand often increases in the summer when kids aren't getting breakfast and lunch at school. And donations drop off during the summer.
