This week is the week for the Howard County Fair. Summer is ending too soon. School opening must be just around the corner. The Howard County Fair is one of those places where you are sure to meet someone you know. Of course Howard County elected officials are always walking around even in non election years. Good place to get your fill of junk food for the month. I know the Fair rides have to make money but you always end up spending an inordinate amount of money for rides for a couple of kids. The addition of a "combine demolition derby" this year should be fun to watch. Not sure how rundown an expensive combine has to be to decide that this is the way you end its life.
