Trail around Lake Kittamaqundi progress

    Last week it was time to check out the progress of the trail around Lake Kittamaqundi.  The tall grasses shown above added a nice touch of color around the Lake trail.

Workers were working on adding some areas for benches along the trail

The trail is now paved where it was only dirt a short time ago.

The area bridge over the small stream that feeds the Lake was almost done.

The trail on the section past the bridge is now paved to complete the trail's circular path. The new 10 foot wide paths that CA is putting in around the lakes is great.  The picture below is some of the new 10 foot path around near Lake Elkhorn

A center line to keep walkers on one side of the path would make it safer for bikers to pass.
