As we move into the colder months, we see an increase in COVID 19 cases in Howard County as throughout our State and Country. At the beginning of the month, we were at 1.91% positive tests and now we are at 2.63%. On November 1st we had 3 COVID patients In Howard County General Hospital and presently the hospital has 13 patients. This is that statistic to keep our eyes on. As we enter the holiday season and colder weather expect this number to rise. Even with our high rate of vaccinations, we have not been able to stop this rise. Every 7 days another 27 residents test positive. With our high vaccination rate we hopefully will not see hospitalizations with infected residents.
