With the Columbia Association facilities along with Life Time and the YMCA it maybe surprising that another fitness business would come into Columbia. The selling point for Planet Fitness is there no commitment membership and low cost of just $15 a month. Why is a Planet Fitness membership so cheap? The simple answer is that they sign up loads of people and many of those people quit coming much after a few visits. The price is low so those people keep their memberships rather than quit and face the truth about their shortage of drive.
