Las Vegas theme for this year's Evening in the Stacks

     We all know that our Howard County Library System was recognized this past year as being the best library in North America.  Now you have the opportunity to have some fun, save on the cost of a plane trip and hotel cost of going to Las Vegas by just enjoying this year's Evening in the Stacks event.  Plus you will help fund the programs that make our Library so unique and nationally recognized.  Check out how to attend the event this year with the information below:

Evening in the Stacks: Vintage Vegas

Saturday, February 22, 2014, 7 - 11 pm 
Howard County Library System, Charles E. Miller Branch & Historical Center

Join us for an evening of glamour and good times.

Featuring New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian, in conversation with Ron Charles from The Washington Post.
Cocktail attire. Black tie optional.

      I sure hope that BG&E repairs the path leading down to Lake Elkhorn.  Their trucks have done a good job of tearing up the pathway leading down to the Lake from Hopewell.
