I know that it is hard to imagine homes that don't have books for children but for many children in our area that is a fact of their growing up. The Maryland Book Bank takes donated children books of all types. They provide free books to teachers and organizations that work with children. The are located in the Baltimore Sun building on Calvert Street in Baltimore. If you have books to donate check out their website for times they are open.
