One of life's mysteries

Yesterday, like many Columbians looking for cheap gas, I was in the gas line at Costco yesterday.  In front of me were three large SUV's, a Chevy Suburban, a Cadillac Escalade and a Toyota Tundra.  The thought that went through my mind was that owning a SUV that gets 10-12 miles to a gallon and shopping for cheap gas is like going to an all you can eat buffet and ordering a diet soda.  Needless to say each vehicle had only one person in each vehicle.

P.S.
The most recent new vehicle report showed a large increase in truck and SUV sales with the recent drop in gas prices.  I remember a time when gas over $3 a gallon would have driven all of us to buy a bike.
