 Ellicott City Firehouse Museum
Santa is coming to town! Santa will be at the Firehouse Museum in historic Ellicott City Saturday, December 3rd from Noon-4 PM to receive visitors of all ages. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy the charm of the historic village during hospitality weekend. Kids can chat with Santa and tell all their wishes.  Ellicott City Midnight Madness
Please join Howard County Executive Ken Ulman and the Tourism Team and other community leaders as we open Howard County’s NEW Welcome Center on Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 PM. The Center is located in the renovated and restored former U.S. Post Office on Main Street. The event kicks off Ellicott City’s 34th annual Midnight Madness, when all of the stores and restaurants stay open until midnight to celebrate the start of the holiday shopping season. Take a FREE shuttle from the George Howard Building or the Circuit Court House.
14th Annual Train Garden display
The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services is proud to present the the 14th annual train garden display, which starts this Saturday, December 3rd and runs until Sunday, January 1st.  Admission to the event is free, but donations are accepted.The Department will also collect new, unwrapped toys for needy children starting Saturday, December 3rd through Wednesday, December 23rd.  New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the train garden, select Howard County Government facilities or any Howard County fire station.  We invite you and your family to stop by and make the train garden part of your holiday tradition!
