This week's must read

   I knew I couldn't be too specific on the title of today's blog as I really wanted readers to read the article posted today.  Today I depart from my usual local blog post today as this week's debate in Congress will deal with the Syrian issues in a very superficial manner.  This issue is worth spending some time to understand the complexity of the situation in Syria and how this situation plays into our own country's interest.  This Atlantic Monthly article is what you need to read to understand the issue.  I hope you take the time sometime this week to read it.
