Cicadas a "no-show" this year

      First the dreaded stink bugs seem to have been decimated down to manageable levels this year and now we hear in this report from the Columbia Patch that the cicadas are going to be a no-show this year in Howard County.  Seems like we will all have to wait for 2021.  Now if we could just find an answer for mosquitoes.

     The turtles at Lake Elkhorn seem to have a pecking order with the lineup by size.

    From the looks of this goose, ducks and geese can "get it on!"
